Quick answer. ROB RUN needs Windows 10 64-bit, 12 GB of RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti or RX 580 at minimum. The recommended build is a 16 GB system with an RTX 2070 or RX 5700 XT. It is a Windows-only Steam release in Early Access, with a 20 GB install.

What the numbers mean

12 GB of RAM is the real gate. Many budget builds ship with 8 GB or 16 GB; 8 GB is below the minimum, and 16 GB is the comfortable target. If you are upgrading one part, upgrade RAM before the GPU.

The GPU floor is old but not trivial. A GTX 1050 Ti can run the game, but Looty Bay is a crowded multiplayer space with players, vehicles and effects. Expect to lower settings if you are at the minimum.

The CPU matters for crowds. The game advertises thousands of players around you. A six-core i5-6600K is the floor; a modern six-core is the practical target.

DirectX 11 means the game does not require DX12 features. That is good for older cards and bad for anyone hoping for frame generation.

Performance tips

Before you play

Update the GPU driver. Early Access builds often ship with driver-specific fixes.
Verify the game files in Steam if you have installed or moved the game recently.
Close background applications that hold RAM; the 12 GB minimum assumes the game has most of it.
Check your connection. ROB RUN is online-only and a bad link looks like a performance problem.

In game

Lower crowd or character detail first if the city stutters. The player count is the point of the game, but the rendering cost is not.
Reduce shadows and post-processing before reducing resolution.
Cap the frame rate. A stable 60 is better than a fluctuating 90 in a shooter.
Test in a quiet district, not during a clan fight.

If the game freezes or fails to load

Check the internet connection.
Restart the game and Steam.
Update the graphics driver.
Verify the integrity of the game files in Steam.

Windows only, for now

The Steam page lists Windows as the only supported platform. There is no official macOS or Linux build, and no console version announced for the launch window.

Is Early Access performance stable?

It is improving, not finished. The launch build changed several systems, and Early Access patches can change performance in both directions. If a patch makes the game worse for your hardware, report it; the developer is actively iterating.

The practical expectation: a recommended-spec machine should run the game comfortably, a minimum-spec machine should run it with lowered settings, and a below-minimum machine should expect problems.
